Some would say March Madness has something to do with college basketball, but around here it has meant a major bedroom remodeling project, planning and conducting Rachel's birthday party with 12 guests, planning and conducting Rachel's baptism, and caring for a sick little boy day and night--who singlehandedly created 10 loads of laundry. Thank you rotovirus. Grandma Dory came to visit us for these adventures and can verify the madness I am talking about.
It all started when Michelle bought a new bookshelf for the girl's room. Before we move it in, why not paint some trim in the room, we thought. From there, this project grew to repairing nail pops in the wall to tearing down some sheetrock to new closet doors. Though we stayed up till 1am several nights, it was still unfinished when Grandma Dory arrived. Thanks for being willing to sleep in a room without a door for a few days!
