14 Reasons I'm Glad I Married You

Today on our 14th anniversary, I want to share 14 reasons why I am SO glad I married you.

#1: We always seem to have such a good time together.

#2: I just love watching you be a Dad.

#3: You help me do hard things.

(Like when you read Grandma Glenna's life sketch at her funeral because you knew it would be too hard for me to get through.)

#4: Our kids think your jokes are REALLY funny.

#5: You never complain if I need a night out.

(Thanks for giving me breaks when I am going crazy!)

#6: Someone has got to teach our kids to like roller coasters.

#7: You have been patient each time I come up with something new to remodel.

(Even though you thought our house looked "just fine" when we bought it.)

#8: We have the same goals, hopes and dreams.

#9: You work so hard to provide for us.

I have always been able to trust the decisions you have made about your career. Remember when you wanted to do two master's degrees and I was thinking you were nuts? I was wrong.

#10: You are a playful, get on the floor and wrestle kind of dad.

#10: You always carry the heavy stuff for me.

#11: Together we have been through a few tough trials...

#12: And, together we have seen our share of miracles.


# 13: You have been my best friend for like--18 years.

#14: I simply can't imagine traveling this journey with anyone else.
