A Day at the Farm

Last week, Zach’s preschool took a field trip to the “Real Life” Farm.

We got to feed baby goats with a bottle.  He was pretty nervous—those goats were very serious about eating…and pretty aggressive.  100_9605

He liked feeding them by hand better…probably because the goats were secured behind a fence.100_9614

100_9613The kittens were much more his style.

He held this little one for a LONG time.  He begged to bring him home.  100_9600  The new ducklings were so cute.    100_9597      100_9587

Zach informed me on the way there that he was NOT riding any horses, but when he saw that there was a small pony to ride, he decided to give it a try.  Once again…he was pretty uneasy about it.

I am guessing Zach is not destined to be a cowboy. 100_9584He also had no desire to milk the cow.

For now, kittens are much more his style.

(He is going to hate this post when he is 16…)
