Even more Easter...

I am sure I am biased, but I just think these are the cutest kids ever!
(I especially love that Zach has chocolate dripping from his teeth.)
This year marks the first year my daughters refused to wear matching dresses.
Meghan was not a bit interested in it.
(so sad...they are growing up)

Hope you had a wonderful Easter!

Eggs to Dye For:

I love traditions. I guess that some things just never get old.
(Maybe that is because you only do them once a year.)

I was thinking tonight as we dyed our eggs that there are not many years left for us to do this together. Times change, children grow, and having a two-year-old to dye Easter Eggs with is priceless.

(Risky to the carpet, but priceless.) It won't be too many years before this girl is too old to be into the whole Easter Egg thing.

So tonight, we just enjoyed every minute of it.

and so did Zach.
Here is little bit of the action:

Hope you enjoyed your "Balentine's" Day

We hope you enjoyed your Valentine's Day as much as we did.
Zach had a great time doing his Dora and Diego "Balantines".
He knew right where to scribble and told me who he was sending each of his valentines to.
Rachel made a cool mailbox to hold her valentines---turquoise blue of course.
(not an ounce of pinkness to it.)

This year was probably Meghan's last school Valentine's Party.

She is headed to middle school nest year.

and here is Zach-o hard at work.

Feeling Festive

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas...
Zach was so excited to get out our tree this year!
He asks everyone who come over if they would like to see his
"kissmas" tree.
In fact, he loves it so much he redecorates it on a daily basis.
Each Christmas, the kids get a new ornament that represents a favorite thing or activity for the year.
Here are the 2007 selections:
Meghan
a major collector of pandas

Rachel

loves fairies--and is especially into reading books about them.

Zach

learned how to hit a baseball this year!

Don't you just love traditions?

I love this tree full of memories and although nothing really matches,

it just works for me.
