Blood, Sweat and Tears

Our weekend escape to Canada could not have come at a better time.

Just an hour before we were loading the car to go--this happened.

So--officially--this little countertop remodel has cost us blood, sweat, and even tears.

(Like when we found a crack in our bathtub that needs fixin' too and the cheapest estimate is over 2000 buckaroos. Ya gotta love this 50 year old house!)

A few steri strips later and we were on our way to the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. More tommorow on our stellar accomodations, loving titled "Mildew Manor".
