The sawdust has been swept, the money has been spent at Home Depot, and now everyone is fast asleep, prepping for Day 3.
A recap of today--we finally had a counter to eat on--only plywood, but a solid surface none the less. This morning, Zach (who is too short to see the countertop) reached up to put the unfinished part of his donut on the counter. Since there actually IS no counter, the donut fell through to the shelves below. "Oh No--donut falled" he announced, in quite a worried tone.
Fortunately for us, a formica countertop the color of peaches makes an excellent stage for dancing on!
That is where we watched the choreography skills of Meghan and Rachel as they performed a few numbers for us out in the back yard.
On to Day 3.....

Too cute! Quite the runway. (Well, except for the big hole.)
